As previously mentioned, Connor spent the night at Grandma's the other night. In the morning, she asked him what he would like for breakfast. Connor loves him some waffles, so that was his request. Grandma got out the waffle iron and Connor said something about getting the cold waffles out.
Grandma: I make my waffles from scratch.
Connor: I don't like my waffles scratched.
Now the world over knows that not only does my son believe that waffles come from the freezer (which they generally do at our house) but that he has no idea what "from scratch" means. Sigh.
