Help Marcy Make Great Strides

I am very proud of my sister-in-law, Marcy and her efforts to fight Cystic Fibrosis. Two grandchildren of a co-worker of her's have this horrible disease. One little one, Elliot had been diagnosed and Marcy was already planning to walk when the other one, Claire was also diagnosed a few weeks ago. This is a heartbreaking ordeal for the children and their families. You can read more about it by visiting Marcy's blog at http://thewhitehouse-southernstyle.blogspot.com/.

Marce is participating in the Great Strides walk - named because the research and testing have a high progression rate....the life expectancy of someone with Cystic Fibrosis used to be 18 years; now it is nearly 40! But there is still much to do and this is something that these precious little ones and their families have to combat every single day of their lives. If your heart is touched, as mine is, by their bravery and you would like to donate anything at all, please visit Marcy's personal donation page at www.cff.org/great_strides/MarcyWhite And also, remember, prayer is another powerful tool! Tonight when you are holding and hugging your beautiful, healthy children or the special children in your life, say a little prayer thanking Heavenly Father for their health...and say another for the children who don't possess it. Thank you Marcy, for helping raise my personal awareness! And go, girl, go!!!
